As many of you know, I have been fighting to get my thesis done (because of an A***hole thesis chair). The chair of my committee quit his position at my university on Friday - meaning that he abandoned me to the wolves. I have 10 weeks to finish my thesis…
Luckily, I was able to hussle and replace my committee. However, I need to complete interviews now for some research. My original research from last semester fell completely flat and didn’t work out. So, now I have to complete NEW research ASAP.
I need anyone who was raised in a multi-ethnic home (for example, my husband is half-Korean and raised in a home with a Korean mother and American father with influence from two languages. I was raised with a father who ID as Romani (and spoke Romanes) and mother who ID as Scottish Traveller (and spoke Anglo-Romani and English)…
I am going to complete research regarding language, meaning, and identity and would appreciate ANYONE who would be willing to help me. I need between 5 - 10 interviews and thus far I only have ONE participant.
I would preferably do the interviews over Skype (so that I can record and transcribe them)… they would take most likely no more than 30 minutes.
Please email me (my email is available on my main blog page under Contact me) if you’re willing and able to assist me. I will be indebted to you for life!!!
*freaking out*
Anyone of multi-cultural background, I would GREATLY appreciate you helping her out!
I want to help but I lack skype.
Aaaah the only reason I can’t do this is because of the whole ‘skype’ and ‘record’ thing. IF IT WERE THROUGH EMAILS. :|
I can’t help, but I can certainly signal boost!
I know this feel. Signal boost!!
